Statement Tishrin Million-Man March: Let’s take to the squares

Tomorrow, Sunday, October 25, 2026, marks the seventh anniversary of the blessed October Revolution, born from the heart of the neighborhoods, villages, and cities of Iraq, in Baghdad and the Provinces, in search of a homeland stolen by treacherous hands and followers, loyalists, and servants of foreign powers. The slogan raised by the valiant youth of the revolution was “Reclaiming the Homeland,” and the only flag they raised was the Iraqi flag, which fluttered in the skies of the squares of the uprising throughout Iraq—one slogan, one flag, and through peaceful and civilized means.

The Gathering of Supporters of the Tishrin Revolution in Diaspora calls on the patriotic sons of Iraq in all Governorates to participate actively and peacefully and to be present in the squares of freedom, not only to celebrate a passing anniversary but to rekindle the spark that ignited in 1919 when the free people filled the squares of freedom in many cities to declare their rejection of sectarian and partisan quotas, the flawed constitution of Paul Bremer, and to denounce financial and administrative corruption, the sectarian and racist parties’ control over the country’s resources, the looting and smuggling of Iraqis’ wealth, to reject sectarianism and racism and the marginalization of religious and ethnic minorities, to condemn the killing of peaceful demonstrators, in addition to the complete rejection of forced displacement and the imprisonment of innocent people without legal justification, and to announce the explicit declaration of the failure of successive Governments to confine the illegal and loose weapons to the hands of the State and to allow outlaw militias to tamper with the security of Iraq and the region.

O heroic sons of Tishreen, as we remember the martyrs of freedom targeted by the treacherous hands of those loyal to the enemies of Arabs and Islam, we draw from their precious sacrifices the resolve and determination to continue on the same path.

A resounding victory to the Tishreen Revolution, glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs, and together until the liberation of Iraq is achieved from north to south.
